![]() ![]() Most drivers for Macs come directly from Apple, not third-party vendors, Look at the name of the Webcam as reported by VMware in the connect dialog, and Google that name and OS X driver. If the installed Webcam on your system just happens to be an OEM that Apple also supports, you might (if you can find the manufacturers website) find a driver. With that out of the way, what is complaining about a driver, I assume it is VMWare? You won't be able to find a driver for OS X for your Aliienware hardware. It is "legal" to run a second copy of a server version of OS X in a VM on a Mac, but definitely not on a Windows PC. For this reason, finding support will be difficult. ![]() Any suggestions? Is there a driver for OS X that I can download? Or is there a better way to boot OSX? Like a dual boot or another program?įYI, running Mac OS X on non-Apple hardware is against the EULA, and is not supported by Apple. However it fails to connect because of a driver issue. Vmware gives me the option to connect my webcam. ![]() I am also using VMware as a virtual machine to run Mac OS X Yosemite for facetime and other reasons. I have Windows 10 as my main operating system. ![]()
